Michael Orzechowski was born April 15, 1962 in Elizabeth, New Jersey and passed on December 8, 2024. He was the third child of John and Mildred Orzechowski. He graduated from high school in Rhode Island, and settled in Port Charlotte, Florida. Mike is survived by his older sister, Nancy Vogel, oldest brother Jack Orzechowski of Punta Gorda, Florida, brother James Assink and sister Lisa Jacobs. Mike was predeceased by his parents and brother Alan Assink.

Uncle Mike was a role model to his great nephews, AJ, William and Christian and his nieces Kelly and Jennifer.

Affectionately known as "Mike O.," he was a good friend to many and to his closest cousin Patti Orzechowski Normoyle.

Mike was an avid fisherman and hunter, spending endless hours in the quiet moments of nature. Mike interacted with the people he loved with a sense of humor and gentle spirit.

It is hard to say goodbye to someone who had such an impact on our lives. We love you.
