Michael "Mike" "Papa" Eugene Peters, 68, of Leesburg, FL passed away on November 25, 2020.  He was born in Winter Garden, FL on October 6, 1952. Mike would want to be remembered for his fun loving, caring nature.  He enjoyed the outdoors, barbecuing, hunting, and fishing.  He actively attended swap meets and liked to go to yard sales.  Most of all Mike loved his family. Those he left behind will miss his big bear hugs, his smile, and his sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Barbara Peters; niece Kimmy Dodge; and his nephew Robbie Peters.

Mike was survived by his wife of 48 years, Duerice Peters; daughters Daphne Peters and Missy Tyer; grandchildren Cody, Cortney, Amber, Leanne, and Ashley; great-grandchildren SeSe, Lyla, Jayvian, Raygen, Hunter, Oaklee, Ava, and Kamdyn; sister Karen; brothers Steve and David.
