Michael R. Rodriguez of The Villages, FL, passed away on March 26, 2025. Before moving to The Villages, Mike lived in Toms River, NJ, until moving to Melbourne, FL.

He was born in Manhattan, NY, to Miguel and Lillean (Franco) Rodriguez. Mike served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1957.

Mike married Mary Agnes Reidel on March 15, 1958. He worked for a time purchasing exotic leathers for handbag and shoe manufacturers in New York City. The remainder of his work career was as an agent for Prudential Life Insurance.

Mike enjoyed playing cards, playing pickleball and traveling.

Mike is survived by his wife of 15 years, Sylvia. He is also survived by three children: Mary Jane Lizer of Toms River, NJ, Michael and his wife Cindy of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Joseph and his wife Tracie of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, seven grandchildren, James Lizer and his wife Kate, NJ, Nicholas Lizer and his wife Amanda of NJ, Tyler Rodriguez of CA, Dalton Rodriguez and his wife Alyson of NJ, Ashley Raab and her husband Henry of NC, Brittany Ferrie and her husband Brian of NJ, Zachary Rodriguez of NJ, as well as six greatgrandchildren; Aubrey,  Michael, Emma and Everett Lizer, Conrad Raab and Bennett Ferrie.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 7, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon, followed by a Funeral Service at Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, 1008 Bichara Boulevard, The Villages.
