Michael W. Rohaty, 76, of The Villages, passed away February 15, 2022, after a brief illness.  He was born in Philadelphia, PA, on September 30, 1945, to the late Stephen and Mary Rohaty.  An Army veteran and graduate of Penn State University, Mike was a proud Alumnus and big fan of the Nittany Lions.  He loved the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles as well.  He worked as a Controller in New York City for many years before relocating his family from Flemington, NJ, to Sarasota, FL, in 1993 to start his own business.  Mike retired to The Villages in 2005 where he enjoyed the amenities and hosting family visits.  He was passionate about sea cruises and could not wait for the next adventure.

Besides his parents, Mike was predeceased by his brother, Stephen Jr.  He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Eleanor; daughters, Deborah (Marc), and Heather (Paul); son, Bradley; and grandson, Rylan.

Interment will be at a Florida National Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests you donate to your favorite charity.
