Michael Thomas Rowland "Buddy", 86, passed away on Friday April 8, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones.  Buddy was born on July 31, 1934 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania to John and Delia Rowland.  After graduating from Hanover High School, Buddy enlisted in the Coast Guard, where he was awarded the Coast Guard Good Conduct metal.  He then lived in the Bronx, where he met his first wife Rosaleen.  He worked for US Steel for 30 years.  He was transferred to Houston, Texas where he lived until he retired.  Buddy and Rosaleen then moved to Daytona Beach Shores and were volunteers at Halifax Hospital and Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.  Where he met and married his second wife Penny Apwisch, 7 years ago.

Mike is preceded in death by both his parents, his brother Jack and first wife Rosaleen.  He is survived by Penny, his son John, daughter-in-law Frances and grandchildren, Ryan, Sean, Michael, and Sarah, and his step-daughter Sandy Apwisch.
