Michael Stahl, 60, of Leesburg passed away on June 26, 2025. He was born in Leesburg, a graduate of Tavares High School. Michael attended Lake Sumter Community College and served in the United States Army. He was an active member and Bible teacher in several local churches. He was attending Compass Life Church at the time of his passing. He was self employed as a flooring contractor.

Michael was devoted to his family. He enjoyed playing racquetball with friends, as well as studying and teaching the Bible and Christian apologetics.

Michael leaves behind his parents, Larry and Diane Sweat of Leesburg, Florida and Richard Stahl of Boone, North Carolina as well as his brother, Keith Stahl of Leesburg and his sister Laura Sweat of Leesburg, his daughter Storm Stinson, son-in-law Christopher Ryan Stinson and grandson Judah Stinson of Pascagoula, Mississippi.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on July 6th at Compass Life Church, 3701 N Eichelberger Rd, Tavares FL 32778 from 3:00pm- 5:00pm.
