Michael Edward Steadman, 62, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023. He was born in Palatka, Florida, November 24, 1960, to parents Claude "Bud" and Yvonne Steadman.

After serving 8 years in the United States Army National Guard, Michael went on to have a career as a Truck Driver for over 25 years. He enjoyed mechanical work, watching NHRA Racing, and fishing. He above all loved spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. Michael could be prideful and stubborn at times, but he was also a hard-working man who had a soft heart when it came to his girls and grandchildren.

Michael was predeceased by his father, Bud, his sister, Tammy, his brother, Timmy, his Uncle Bill, his Grandma & Grandpa Wallace, Grandma & Grandpa Steadman. He is also predeceased by his dogs, Jack, Jill, and Bear.

Michael is survived by his daughters, Maleania and Brandi, his mother, Yvonne, his sister, Ann (Jimmy), his grandchildren, Colton and Mackenzie, and his nephews, Zachary and Kevin, as well as extended family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 11:00am at First Baptist Church, located at 200 E. Broad Street, Pierson, FL 32180. There will be food to follow in the Fellowship Hall.

Michael is dearly loved, and his family and friends will greatly miss him. He will always be in our hearts.
