Michael H. Wind, age 75, passed away July 5, 2025 in The Villages, Florida. Originally from Buffalo, New York, he was the son of Harold J. and Florence (Wyrwa) Wind.

Mike served in the United States Air Force from 1967 retiring in 1987, attaining the rank of Master Sergeant. While serving in Vietnam, Mike was part of a medevac unit. During his career, he earned a Bronze Star, Purple Heart, the Air Force Commendation Medal, among many others. While stationed in Alabama, Mike earned his MBA at Troy State University. After his military career, Mike worked for Peter J. Schmitt, the Buffalo News, and Tops Markets as a computer analyst. In retirement, Mike enjoyed golfing, bowling, dancing, playing cards, watching movies, reading a good book, and soaking up the sun. He loved driveway parties, and hanging out with family and friends. He was loved and respected by so many people and influenced so many with his positive, happy ways.

Mike is survived and missed by his devoted and loving wife of thirty years, Kelly; cherished daughter, Nicole (Zachary) Armstrong; adored grandson and sidekick, Matthew Armstrong; father-in-law, Robert and late mother-in-law, Lucille (Auricchio) Cirbus; sister-in-law, Kim Mancuso-Oakes. He is also survived by his sister, Gloria Spero; nephews, David (Kim), Joseph (Cathleen), and John (Bridgette) Spero; several great-nephews and nieces.
