Miguel Angel Cortes Roman "Mikey", (74), born in Puerto Rico, raised in New York, and recently retired in Florida, went home to the Lord on Sunday November 22, 2020, peacefully surrounded by his love ones. Miguel "Mikey" was born in Puerto Rico on May 22, 1946 to parents Sixta Lisojo Roman and Santos Cortes. Miguel was the Pastor of "Dios Es Bueno" Church in Mount Dora FL, he loves preaching the gospel and reciting poems.

Miguel "Mikey" is predeceased in death by his Mother Sixta Lisojo-Roman and Father Santos Cortes.  He is survived by his Wife, Carmen Pereira-Cortes, Daughters, Sylvia and Diane Cortes, six grandchildren; Sylmarie, Lyanne, Lysmarie, Bryan, Yinelys and Christopher. Great-Grandchildren, Jayden, Dimitre, Mikael, Delilah, Isabella, Dianelys, Nathan and his sister Mildred Matos "Millie".

Miguel Angel Cortes Roman "Mikey" will be cremated. We will celebrate Miguel Angel Cortes life with a ceremony at "Dios Es Bueno" Church. 321 W Lakeview Ave, Eustis, FL 32726 , on Sunday December 6, 2020 at 2:00pm.

The Cortes family is requesting any flowers sent to the church be small basket or vase arrangements.
