Mildred E., age 72, of Ormond Beach, FL passed away on January 13, 2019 after a lengthy illness.  She is survived by her four sons, Scott, David, Darren and Jeffrey.

Mildred was married nearly 50 years to her late husband, Bruce, who worked as a police officer for the City of Allen Park, MI.   They later moved to Ormond Beach, FL and have lived here since 1995.  She was an avid golfer, and earned many awards for her cooking, baking, sewing and quilt making.  She also was an All Star pitcher for the US Postal Team.

Mildred was hearing impaired her entire life.  She graduated from high school from the Michigan School for the Deaf (MSD) and was well known in  Michigan and Florida for her involvement with the hearing impaired communities.

As per Mildred's and Bruce's wishes no services will be held.
