Mirta Delia
Agazzi Panizza
Nov 12, 1936 — Oct 2, 2026
Mirta Delia Agazzi Panizza passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 89. She will be remembered as a loving mother, devoted wife, strong and determined woman, and fiercely protective presence in the lives of her daughters and family.
Mirta was hardworking, elegant, creative, and endlessly capable. She could move effortlessly from being a sophisticated, impeccably dressed lady to driving a delivery truck and working as hard as anyone around her. She believed that if something needed to be done, she could find a way to do it.
She was especially gifted with her hands. A talented seamstress and embroidery teacher, Mirta also knitted, later learned crochet, and created beautiful oil paintings. Her creativity and love of learning remained with her throughout her life. In later years, she continued enjoying crafts, making flowers, coloring, and spending countless hours completing word searches, memory games, and other activities that kept both her hands and mind engaged.
Mirta was also known for her remarkable sense of cleanliness, order, and discipline—qualities she began teaching her daughters from the time they were very young. Those lessons, along with her love of cooking, sewing, knitting, crochet, and caring for a home, became part of the legacy she passed on to others throughout her life and that her daughters continue to share with future generations.
She had a deep appreciation for kindness and became especially fond of those who treated her with patience, respect, and affection. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, creativity, tradition, and countless lessons that will continue to be passed from one generation to the next.
Mirta is survived by her daughters, Sandra Otero and Veronica Otero, and her sister, Adelina Agazzi Panizza.
Her family will forever be grateful for her love, protection, guidance, and the many ways she shaped their lives.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”— 2 Timothy 4:7
