Monica “Nicki” Davidson, age 79, passed away peacefully in her home October 11, 2026.

She was born December 12, 1946, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of the late Allen and Maxine Jimison.

After graduating from Sioux City East High School Nicki became a nurse. She worked for more than four decades as a nurse in various settings. The majority of her career was spent caring for the elderly, including more than 20 years caring for those afflicted with Alzheimer's Disease.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bill Davidson. Additionally she is survived by her sister Sherry Kochen; her brother Doug Jimison; her son Jason (Chris) Davidson; her two grandchildren, Anna Davidson and Tess Davidson; and countless other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

A drop-in reception to honor Nicki's life will be held on October 23, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Baldwin Brothers, located at 3990 FL-44 #105, Wildwood, FL 34785. While no formal program is planned, friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who touched the hearts of many.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Nicki's memory to the Cornerstone Hospice Foundation, Tavares, FL, an organization that reflects her lifelong commitment to compassionate care.
