It is with sorrow that we are saying goodbye to our dear Myrtle (Jean) Regina Roy (Lambrisky) at the age of 82. Jean passed away at home in Salt Springs Fl on January 25, 2026.She was born to Stella M Peterson Roy and Brady L Roy in Cumberland,Md.Jean is preceded in death by her beloved husband ,Bruce Allen Lambrisky of Baltimore,Md. Also preceded in death by her sisters ,Glenda DelSignore and Betty L Burruss,and brother James Roy. Jean is survived by her sisters, Hazel Goetz, Henrietta Harris and Melva Roy, and her brothers John Roy,Harry Roy and Darrell Roy, and brother in law Micheal Ploughman, and sisters in law ,Genevieve (Jean) Roy, Lucille Roy and Judy Roy. Jean is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews,she celebrated all of her family and loved going to over 50 years of family reunions in WVa. Jeans nephews ,Alex and Neil Thompson were like devoted sons to her. Jean will be remembered for her kindness and loving support to her family and friends. Jean and Bruce fostered many children from family members at various times, striving to care for and educate them .Jean was also a loving steward to animals . Her abilities to raise and nurture plants established her as a professional Horticulturist,she was a greenhouse grower for over 25 years, her business was Pine Hills nursery in the Shenandoah valley of VA.Her employees became extended family through the years. Her passion for planting seeds and helping them grow has left much appreciation and profound joy for many of us. She loved to teach others about the value and beauty of flowers and trees , and the necessity of caring for them. She will be missed.
