Myung Soon Kim

Myung Soon "Sue" Kim was born on October 25, 1957, in Busan, South Korea to her mother, Suk Chung Kim, and her late father.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Cha Sik Kim; a daughter, Hana Kim; a son, Du Kim; her brother, Sung Rea Ha; and her sister, Soo Young Ha. She has one grandson, James Jihoo.

Sue was a lover of life who was active in her local church community. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandson, and loved to travel. One of her last big trips was a cruise to Alaska and Canada with her husband. Sue always gave a sense of warmth and compassion, and was known for helping others. She touched many lives with her giving generosity and kind spirit, and will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

Memorial services will be conducted at 5:00 PM Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Sarasota Korean Presbyterian Church with Pastor Eun Sung Lee officiating.
