Nancy L. Barnes – Born September 22,1940 in Laconia, New Hampshire, passed away after a brief illness on June 24, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones in Ocala, Florida.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father George and mother, Mabel (Wilcox) Barnes, from Belmont, New Hampshire, also her sister, Susanne (Barnes) Whitney of Gilford, New Hampshire.

Nancy is survived by her four children, Jeffrey and Chris Bissonnette of Manchester, New Hampshire; Stephanie (Bissonnette) and her husband Glenn Conley from Canterbury New Hampshire; Stacy (Bissonnette) and her husband Samuel Pollard, including granddaughters Sydney and Sophia Pollard all of Weare. Granddaughter Catherine Durand of Manchester New Hampshire and one grandson David Lougee. Brother-in-law Allan Whitney who resides in Laconia, New Hampshire and niece Michelle Whitney from Gilford, New Hampshire.

Nancy had worked in Merrimack, New Hampshire at the Town Assessors office during the 1980's. Most of her career was spent as the Personal Manager for "Elelctropac" in both the Merrimack and Manchester locations for nearly 25 years.

Nancy resided in Merrimack for over 20 years before moving to Goffstown, New Hampshire for a short while, then to retire in Ocala, Florida for the past 12 years. Nancy loved her family, interior design, photography, gardening and floral design, shopping and many trips to the casinos! She always lived life to the fullest and loved her friends like family.

A private family service in Belmont will be held, in lieu of flowers any donations in celebration of Nancy's life would be appreciated. Donations can be sent to the address below.
