Nancy Rae Cassidy (nee Ward), age 93, of Venice, FL passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Born in Paterson, NJ, she lived in Waldwick, NJ for 32 years where she raised her three sons with her husband, Ben. She spent many years working as as an Executive Secretary for multiple companies in NJ before retiring and moving to Venice, FL in 1992 where she and Ben enjoyed over 30 years of retirement.

Nancy is survived by; her three sons, Wayne (Jacqueline) of Venice, FL, Scott (Fereshteh) of Middletown, NJ, Mark (Cindy) of Leland, NC; her five grandchildren, Keith, Brian (Susanna), Kelly, Keven, and Nicholas (Abby), and great grandson, Aidan.

She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Ben of 71 years, her parents, Harry and Rae Ward, and her sister, Lois Schneeweiss. Her kind smile and laughter and joy she brought into every room will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know her. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
