Nancy B. Chase, of Epping, NH, passed away on October 30, 2022 at age 90.  Born in 1932 in Boston to Joseph C. and Ruth Thomas Burley, Nancy graduated from Milton Academy in 1950 and Skidmore College with a BS in Nursing in 1954.  She began her career as a public health nurse with the American Friends Service Committee in rural El Salvador.  Nancy served as the Executive Director of the Milton Visiting Nurses in Milton, MA and later as the Executive Director of Seacoast Hospice in Exeter, NH.  Always active in her community, Nancy volunteered for many local NH organizations, sang with the Rockingham Choral Society and participated in the UNH Marine Docent Program. A gifted gardener and former President of the Epping Garden Club, Nancy won many ribbons for her entries in the Rochester and Deerfield Fairs. As much as she loved the NH fields and forests, she was happiest sailing in Maine's Penobscot Bay with her family and friends. She was always optimistic and embraced whatever adventures came her way.  Nancy was predeceased by her husband Jack W. Chase, and her partner of the past 19 years, Graham J. Ross.  She is survived by and will be dearly missed by her two sisters, four children and their spouses, and nine grandchildren.  Her remains will be buried in the family cemetery in Epping, NH.
