Nancy H Ely, 78, of New Smyrna Beach, FL, passed away at Florida Memorial Hospital in Daytona Beach, FL on February 1, 2012.  She is survived by her caring husband Ralph Ely, her two sons, Gregg Barta and his wife Mary, Hartland, WI, and Jeff Barta, Las Vegas, NV, her three grandchildren, Evan, Madeline, and Nicholas Barta, her sister Jayne Ludin, Brigantien, NJ.  She was preceded in death, her parents, Eula (Custis) and James "Mac" Harris, Clifton, OH, and her brother David Harris, Columbus, OH.  She graduated from the College of Wooster, Wooster, OH, in 1955 with a degree in English.  She lived in WI for 40 years, working for Suby Von Haden & Associates CPA firm, and first came to New Smyrna Beach in 1997. She was a member of Sugar Mill Country Club, member of AAUW, attended Coronado Community United Methodist Church, and member of Red Hats.  She had a love for summers in Wisconsin, spending many of them in Gills Rock, WI and Sister Bay, WI. Life Celebration will be 2:00 PM Thursday, February 9 at Coronado Community United Methodist Church New Smyrna Beach.
