Nancy Jane Festa, 72, of Venice, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2026. Born on November 9, 1953, in Princeton, New Jersey, Nancy was raised in Trenton, New Jersey, and lived most of her life in Ewing, New Jersey, where she built a life defined by hard work, boundless generosity, and a deep love for her family. Nancy enjoyed a distinguished career in accounting and bookkeeping, serving with the Hibbert Company, McCarthy & Schatzman Law Office, and most notably with the internationally renowned Michael Graves Architecture, where she served as Controller. She took great pride in her work and in the relationships, she built throughout her career. A lover of travel and adventure, Nancy explored the world with an open heart and a spirit of curiosity. From sun-soaked beach destinations in the Florida Keys, the Cayman Islands, and Hawaii, to dream journeys through Alaska, Ireland, England, and Iceland, she embraced every experience life offered. Her love of warm coastlines and ocean breezes eventually led her to settle in Venice, Florida in 2008, where she spent her retirement years. 

Nancy was a devoted tennis enthusiast who never missed a Grand Slam tournament and even traveled to Miami to watch her favorite players compete live. Whether cheering courtside or from her living room, her passion for the sport brought her tremendous joy. Above all else, Nancy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Known affectionately as “Mimi” by her grandchildren; Riley, Gabrielle, Jackson, and Masen. She adored each of them fiercely and took tremendous pride in celebrating their every accomplishment. She was, by every measure, the most generous person in the room, giving endlessly of herself to her children and family.

Nancy is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Sylvester F. Festa; her daughter Jennifer Gregg and son-in-law Christopher Gregg, and their children Riley and Gabrielle; and her daughter Nicole Festa and her children Jackson and Masen Klenk. Nancy was one of eleven children and is also survived by her siblings: Barbara Piano, Frank and Keral Fell, Walter and Regina Fell, Carol and Michael Choma, Patricia Fell, Richard and Terry Fell, Susan Fell, and John and Vicky Fell; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will carry her memory forward. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank E. Fell Jr. and Patricia A. Fell and her siblings Thomas Fell and Robert Fell and her sister-in-law Cass Fell. She was loved beyond measure and will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
