Nancy Elise Israel (nee Clipner), of Cape Coral, FL, died August 9, 2021 at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, FL. She was born on December 12, 1933 in St. Louis, MO to Dr. and Mrs. George Clipner. A graduate of Mary Institute, she went on to Hollins College then transferred to Washington University and was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. On December 21, 1954 she was wed to John Stuart Israel. Nancy was predeceased by her husband, John, and is survived by her five children. Jack (Diane) Israel of Fort Lauderdale, FL; Laurie (Jack) Avery of Chesterfield, MO; Carrie (Robin) Thorpe of RV Life, USA; David (Nancy) Israel of Ellisville, MO; and Larry (Thi Ha) Israel of Macon, GA; as well as 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
