Nancy Kerlinger  (Smith), Age 81 of Port Orange, Florida (formerly of Rockville Centre, New York), beloved wife of Fred Kerlinger, passed away of Covid-related pneumonia surrounded by her husband and loving family on January 15, 2023 at Advent Health Hospital, New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

Nancy is survived by her husband and her children James Sackaris, Michael Sackaris (Lisa), Richard Sackaris (Cheryl) and William Sackaris (Lori); step-children Jacqueline Cohen, Kathleen D'Angelo (Vincent) and Mary Waltrop (William); siblings Patricia Page, Thomas Smith (Phyllis) and Bernadette (Bunny) Muller. Nancy is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Nancy was born on August 19, 1941 in Long Beach, New York to parents Harold Smith and Josephine Benton. Nancy lived an incredible life and was a loving wife and wonderful mother as well as a great friend to many, all of whom will miss her deeply.

A mass and celebration of life will be held in the spring on a date yet to be determined.
