Nancy Young Quilling, 80, of New Smyrna Beach, went to be with The Lord on Tuesday, May 30, 2017.

Born in Berea, Ohio on August 13, 1936, she moved to Florida with her parents, the late John and Margaret(Ames) Young in 1946, and graduated from Winter  Park High School in 1954.  She married her loving husband of 62 years, Wendell, in Winter Park.  Nancy was an accountant with the telephone company there before retiring in New Smyrna Beach in 1980.

Nancy was a master gardener, and enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, walking the beach, surf fishing, and spending time with her  family and friends.  She also loved her church family at Crossroads Christian, as well as working out at the cardio-pulmonary rehab at Florida Hospital.

Nancy is survived by her husband Wendell, son John, and sister Carol Todd.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Wende Schwering, grandson Greg Allard, and sister Jackie Kraker.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday,  June 17, 2017, 2PM, at Crossroads Christian Church in New Smyrna Beach, with Pastor Ben Ling officiating.
