Obituary

Naomi Bell (Lewis) Unbehaun, 91, of Fort Myers, died February 16, 2026 at the Hope Hospice Home in Fort Myers, Florida. Naomi was born on October 18, 1934, in Richland Center, Wisconsin, to Ray Herman Lewis and Elsie Edna (Glick) Lewis.

She graduated from Richland Center High School in 1952. After graduation, Naomi married Robert “Bob” G. Unbehaun on May 26, 1952. The couple made their home on the Unbehaun Farm in Bear Valley, Wisconsin. In 1968, they moved to the Unbehaun Farm on State Highway 14 in Richland Center, where they continued farming until 1976. Bob and Naomi shared a deep love of travel and were fortunate to explore many parts of the world together. They enjoyed reminiscing about their adventures, both near and far.

In 1991, they relocated to Fort Myers, Florida, where they embraced everything the area had to offer —especially the warm winters. They were active members of several organizations, including the VFW and Moose International. Naomi was especially dedicated to the Fort Myers Beach Moose Lodge #964, where she served for several years as Senior Regent of the Women of the Moose (WOTM).

Naomi is survived by her son, Robert L. (Chris) Unbehaun; her daughter, Rhonda (Rick Downing) Ladd; three grandchildren; four great‑grandchildren; and one great‑great‑grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G.; her sons, Richard and infant Thomas; her parents, Ray and Elsie Lewis; and her brothers, Marlin Lewis and Jack Lewis.

Burial will take place at a later date in the Richland Center Cemetery in Richland Center, Wisconsin.
