Nelson Padro Almodovar, 76, of Ocala, FL passed away February 18, 2018.  Born in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, he came to this area 15 years ago from Philadelphia, PA.  Nelson was a former Pastor of United Assembly of Jesus Christ in Philadelphia, PA and a retired school bus driver.  He enjoyed playing guitar a preaching.  He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Luz M. Padro; children, Nelson Padro Almodovar, Jr. (Merlin) of Ocala, Lizette Cortes (Nestor) of Ocala, Jeanette Arroyo (Luis) of Philadelphia, PA, William Padro (Raquel) of Philadelphia, PA, Mary Luz Monell (Thomas) of Ocala and Ruth Torres (Jonathan) of Ocala; 1 brother, 3 sisters, 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be held at Grace Community Church (415 Marion Oaks Blvd. Ocala) on Saturday, Feb. 24th, from 3-4PM followed by funeral services.  Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations 11250 SW 93rd Ct.
