Nelson R. Blank, 79, of Leesburg, FL passed away Monday, July 8, 2018 at Waterman Hospital in Tavrees, FL. He was born on November 18, 1938 in Harvard, IL to Carl and Marolyn Blank. On February 21, 1959, he married Marcella Beard. Nelson was a florist at "The Flower cart" in Harvard, IL for many years. He worked at Woodstock Die Casting for 25 years. He then worked as Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor for Harvard Community School District #50 for 11 years, retiring in 1999.

Surviving are his wife, Marcella, of Leesburg,FL; his daughter, Linda Blank (Brenda Patrick) of Leesburg, Fl; daughter Laurie Knudsen (Matt Walter) of Sharon, WI; son John Blank (Sheila Henson) of Walworth, WI; his sister, Carolyn (Mike Bentley) of Crossville, TN; three grandsons: Lucas, Jared and Christopher; four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, carl and Marolyn Blank; a brother, Glenard, and a sister, Earlyne

A Celebration of Life Service was held for Nelson on July 30, 2018 at Lake Receptions in Mount Dora, FL.
