Nelson Alan Hill, age 68, of Edgewater, Fl, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024. Born on November 3, 1955, Nelson lived a life marked by quiet strength, unwavering love for his family, and a deep commitment to his faith.

Nelson proudly served in the military, exemplifying his sense of duty and dedication to his country. After his service, he continued to live with the same hardworking spirit that defined him. Nelson was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Cherrell Hill, and a loving father to his children, Shanda Shull (Louis), Shane Hill (Lacy) Melinda Hill, Cherrell Gregory and Vernon Bush III. And grandfather of 11 grandchildren—Layla, Cole, Tristin, Abby, Cason, Elyssa, Keagan, Gabrielle, Braden, Austin, Mckenzie.—and two great-grandchildren, Wayne and Lucy. He is also survived by his sister, Marna Hoffman.

A man of few words, Nelson's quiet demeanor belied the immense love and care he held for his family and friends. He found joy in working with his hands and was an avid bowling enthusiast. Nelson also had a passion for NASCAR racing, which he followed with great enthusiasm.

A devoted follower of Christ, Nelson lived his life with faith, humility, and integrity. His work ethic was second to none, and he approached every task with dedication and commitment. His legacy of love, kindness, and hard work will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Nelson's passing leaves a void in the lives of those who loved him, but his memory will forever be cherished. Although he is no longer with us, his spirit remains alive in the stories, the lessons, and the love he imparted to his family.

Nelson is now at peace, embraced in the loving arms of God the Father.
