Nijole (Nicki) Oker, passed away on Wednesday, January 7th at the age of 73.

Nijole was born in Chicago, Illinois to Steponas and Stella Viscius, on May 4th, 1952. She will be remembered for her never-ending compassion, generosity, and kind words towards all she encountered.

She was preceded in death by her Steponas Viscius and Stella Viscius, her sister Dalia Vilkas, and her husband James Oker. She is survived by her siblings Milda Roberts, Vida (George) Musielak, Steven (Ramona) Viscius and Linas Viscius; Children, Michael Oker, Eva (Chris) Warren, and Laura (Jason) Love; Grandchildren, Stephanie, Alexander, and Savanna; as well as 4 great grandchildren.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, January 30th at 1pm at Florida National Cemetery, in Bushnell Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital – www.stjude.org, or Shriners Children's – www.shrinerschildrens.org
