Noel Campbell was born on Christmas Eve, 1939, in Ulster Springs, located in the parish of Trelawny in the island of Jamaica. He was the fourth of what would eventually be ten children born to Benjamin and Gladys Campbell.

As a young man, Noel moved to Kingston in search of new opportunities. After exploring several professions, he found his calling as a firefighter with the Kingston Fire Department. He served with distinction, earning a medal for participating in Jamaica's national celebration when it gained its independence from the United Kingdom in 1962.

In the early 1960s, Noel met Gloria Gregory, a meeting that would prove to be a defining moment in his life. They were married on November 2, 1963, and together, they had two children—Courtney, their firstborn, and Nadine, born four years later. At this point, they made the life-changing decision to emigrate to the United States in search of better opportunities for their family. They arrived in the U.S. in 1972 and later welcomed their third child, Sean, in 1976.

Noel worked tirelessly to provide a better life for his family. They moved from modest apartments in Queens, New York, to the suburban community of Uniondale, New York. Throughout their journey, he and his wife instilled in their children a strong work ethic and a deep commitment to family values.

After retiring, Noel and Gloria relocated to Fayetteville, Georgia, in 2000, where they spent 16 happy years together. Following Gloria's passing in 2016, Noel moved to Florida to live with his daughter, Nadine, and her family. He lived there until his passing on June 22, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Noel was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his five children, three daughters-in-law, two sons-in-law, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers, and a host of nieces and nephews.
