Norman I. Burke, known to friends as "Norm", died on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at the age of 90, just shy of his 91 ^st birthday.  Under hospice care for congestive heart failure, he died peacefully in his sleep.  He was born to the late Lester and Mae Burke in Canaan, Maine.  He was predeceased by his brother Leroy and sister-in-law Margaret of Woodstock, GA.

Norman is the beloved husband of his wife of 31 years, Minnie and step-father to Suzanne Price of PA.    He will be forever and lovingly remembered by his nieces Diane Fell, Shelley Burke and a grand-niece, Olivia Fell, all of Woodstock, GA.  He will also be missed by a host of dear friends.

Norman retired from the U.S. Army in 1966 as a Sergeant 1 ^st Class and served his Country honorably.

Care has been entrusted to Affordable Cremation by Baldwin Brothers.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Development Office, Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL  33908.
