NORMAN JACOB MADOIAN September 21, 1934 to February 18, 2026
Norman Jacob Madoian, 91, died peacefully February 18, 2026. He resided in Fort Myers, Fl (formerly Sugarland, TX and Southport, CT); and was born in New York City, NY. He was preceded in death by his father Arsen Madoian, his mother Jean Manulelian-Madoian, sister Diana Madoian, sons-in-law David Adam and James Demir. His father, Arsen Madoian, came to America through Ellis Island and was a proud survivor of the Armenia genocide. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Kelly Jo Myers-Madoian; his daughters, Elizabeth Demir and Ruth Adam; his brother, Leon Madoian and grandchildren Taylor Adam and Jacob Adam and a nephew and niece.
Norman was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He graduated with a BSME Engineer Degree from New York University, spending most of his career as a PE (Professional Engineer) with Crawford & Russell/John Brown/Kvaerner as the Mechanical Department Head.
In his Florida community, Norman enjoyed actively participating The Men’s Choral, The Lake Fairways Chorus, The Gospel Singers, and the Entertainment Committee. He loved Big Band music, jazz, golfing, singing, dancing, cruising, and Kelly Jo.
