Novella V. Maguire, 85, of Titusville, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.Born in Jellico, Tennessee, Novella was the cherished daughter of the late Albert and Evelyn Vanderpoll. She carried with her the warmth of her Appalachian roots throughout her life, grounding her in faith, family, and simple joys. A devoted Christian, Novella lived her life as a quiet testament to kindness, compassion, and unwavering belief.Above all, Novella treasured her family. Her greatest happiness was found in the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren—sharing stories, laughter, and love that will echo through generations. Her gentle spirit and nurturing heart created a home where everyone felt welcomed and deeply loved.She is lovingly remembered by her children: John Sears (Drema), Debbie Simpson, and Sheila Amos (William). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Caleb Sears, Racheal Sears, Joshua Sears, Abbagail Seesselberg, Jacob Simpson, Gabrielle Slack, and Ezekiel Amos, as well as her 13 great-grandchildren, who brought her immense pride and joy.Novella is also survived by her brothers: James Vanderpoll, Luther Vanderpoll, and Allen Vanderpool; and her sister, Teresa Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, whose memory she held close throughout her life and husband Dave Maguire..Novella’s life was a beautiful reflection of faith, love, and devotion. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is at peace, reunited with loved ones, and resting in the eternal embrace of her Savior.Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
