Devoted mother and grandmother, Betsy Medina was born and raised in New York City and moved with her family to Puerto Rico at age seventeen after the sudden loss of her father. Later in life, Betsy moved with family to Orlando, FL., where she last worked at the Good Shephard infirmary, and said loved assisting the children, hearing their stories and providing a warm embrace. Betsy enjoyed spending time and traveling with family. She was known for her kindness whenever she went.

Betsy is survived by her daughters, Gwendolyn and Betsivette; grandson, Yabdiel; granddaughters Isabella, Kiana, Victoria and Emily; and sons-in-law, Luis and David.
