Carmen Bart, age 89, passed peacefully in his home in New Smyrna Beach, FL on December 27, 2025.
Carmen was a beloved husband to the late Connie (Piccolomini) for 64 years. He was a devoted father to Rick (LouAnn) Bart and David (Karen Sara) DiBartolomeo and fun Grandpa to Christina (Alan) Swart, Andrea (Ivan) Woodworth, Ricky (Chelsea) Bart, Laura (Jordan) Etters, Brandon (Nykkie) Bart, Savannah Bart, and Blake Bart. Also, a loving Papa to Jaydin, Rylan, Kenzley, Leah, Taylor, Brooklyn, Will, Mason and Cason. He is also survived by his sister Florence Strength.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carmen and Susie Bart and his sister Mary (Mario) Scimone.
Carmen was born in Cleveland, OH where he was married and raised his family. Upon retiring from LTV Steel, they enjoyed a long retirement in New Smyrna Beach, FL where he became known as somewhat of a legend on the karaoke scene. Many great memories were made with his family. New Smyrna Beach will remain a favorite destination as the legacy continues.
The family is hosting and informal celebration of life at Coronado Arms Club House on Thursday January 8 th , 2026 from 6 to 9 pm. All are welcome to attend. 541 South Peninsula Ave NSB.
A mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart R.C Church on January 9th, 2026 at 10:00am.
