Carol Colbert, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, was born in Lawrence, Kansas on July 28, 1933, and passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, at the age of 92. Known for her kindness and laughter, Carol touched the lives of all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Colbert. She is survived by her children: Katie Bertrand, Judy Wise, Lee Colbert (Alice), and Kem Colbert (Sandra); grandchildren, Beth Bertrand, Kelly Wise, Julie Duffy, Kemper Colbert, Lauren Alford, Kristyn Smith, Matt Wise, Mark Colbert, Trevor Bertrand and Kyle Colbert; and eleven great-grandchildren.

The family will celebrate Carol's life at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the organization of one's choice. Carol was the best mother and Mimi a family could hope for.
