Dale E. Blanton originally from Columbus, Ohio passed away surrounded by family on September 18, 2025. Dale was born on April 22, 1945, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ben and Sadie Blanton. He went on to graduate from South High School in Columbus, Ohio. From high school he went on to work at the Anheuser-Busch in Columbus, Ohio until he retired.

Dale played softball for many years and coached several champion teams in the Fun and Sun League. While he was at Hawthorne he started a Friday night dance called Sox and Boots.

He is survived by his wife Billie of 61 years; Son Chad (Angela); Daughters Cynthia and Lori; Grandchildren Cameron, Coletyn, Cooper, Jesse, Kaitlyn (Jeremy), and Mackenzie; Sisters Betty Miranda and Debbie (Dave) Shirey; and by many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date with more information to follow.
