Obituary

Dariel Duane Deason, lovingly known as Duaine, went to be with the Lord on December 3, 2025, at the age of 56. He was born on December 8, 1968, in Peru, Indiana.

Duaine was a man of deep faith and a servant's heart. He spent many years working as a salesman, but his true calling was sharing the message of Jesus Christ. He was a preacher who loved to evangelize and completed multiple Biblical studies, earning many certificates along the way. Duaine served as a chaplain for Cornerstone Hospice in Tavares, Florida, and also as chaplain for the JC Roaddogs Motorcycle Club, ministries he cherished dearly. In his free time, Duaine enjoyed woodworking and furniture restoration, taking pride in creating and restoring with his hands. He also loved riding his motorcycle, finding both joy and fellowship on the open road.

He owned a furniture store. He also ran the Eustis division of Deliver the Difference Food Pantry, and started and ran the food pantry at Victory Church in Umatilla, FL. He worked in the deathcare industry for many years.

Duaine never met a stranger. He was known for his loving nature, his warm smile, and his ability to make people laugh. He enjoyed joking and playing pranks, and he especially loved sharing the message of Jesus with everyone he met.

He had a strong impact on his community, always helping others however he could—whether through handyman work, bringing food to those in need, evangelizing, or organizing community events. His generosity and compassion touched many lives.

Duaine is survived by his daughter, Daryl Angel Ashleigh Deason; his son, Drew A. Deason; and four beloved grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Kathy R. Deason Graham; sisters Tammy Quick, Lori Wooten, Chrystal Dawn Rich, and Michelle Graham; brothers Earl Andre Graham and Noah Koegel; along with many stepbrothers, stepsisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Isaac D. Deason; his sister, Creshelle R. (Deason) Williams; his nephew, Alonzo B. Williams Jr. III; and many stepbrothers and stepsisters.

Duaine will be remembered for his unwavering faith, kind heart, joyful spirit, and dedication to serving others. His legacy of love and ministry will live on in all who knew him.

There will be a Celebration of Life service to honor Duaine on Saturday, December 20th at 1:00 pm at Victory Church in Umatilla with Pastor Toby Cox.  There will also be a Celebration of Life service at MP3 Church in Clermont with Pastor Juan Negron.
