David Martin, 78, of Bushnell, Florida, passed away in 2025, leaving behind his beloved wife, Lorraine; sons, Nathan and Chris; seven grandchildren who called him "Pappy"; and two great-grandchildren. A devoted family man, David spent 14 years traveling the U.S. and Canada with Lorraine in their camper, sailing with loved ones, and exploring nature through his passions for photography, fly fishing, and adventure. He captured wildlife and landscapes with a keen eye, tied his own flies, and found joy standing in a stream or behind a camera. A man of many talents, he earned both his pilot's license and ham radio license, painted, and became an exceptional woodcarver who believed the animals already lived within the wood—he simply released them. David lived with humor, curiosity, creativity, and unwavering love, and he will be forever remembered as a devoted husband, father, Pappy, craftsman, fisherman, photographer, pilot, and friend.
