David Prahl, 85, of Edgewater, Florida passed peacefully at home with family by his side on December 5, 2025.

Born in Syracuse, New York. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, William O. Prahl and Laura Prahl. His brother, Donald Prahl; sister, Ellen Fowler; son, David H. Prahl; granddaughter, Victoria Sinay and step-daughter, Heather Allmon.

Dave is survived by his loving wife, Denise Walker Prahl, who was a huge support in his care in recent years. His beloved dalmatians, Bell and Pepper; brother, Paul Prahl; sister, Irene Prahl; son, Michael Prahl; daughter (step), Kim Gehrke; daughter, Suzanne Sinay, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dave moved to Edgewater, Florida in 1995 where sunshine and the ocean brightened his day. Dave had been an active member of Sons of Amvets Post 2 and The Dolphin Athletic Club of Edgewater, where he was a part of many responsibilities thru the years. Dave was always willing to lend a helping hand. And enjoyed the club the many events it held. He will be remembered for the countless karaoke with his amazing singing voice. Also for the Halloween costumes with is wife. Dave always went all in. The club was an extension of community and family.

His legacy lives on in many lives he touched. Dave will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

The Celebration of Life will be held on February 1st at 1pm at the Dolphin Athletic Club in Edgewater.
