E verett K. DeBoer, 66, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on August 10, 2025, at UF Health Leesburg Hospital.  Everett was born on October 21, 1958, to his parents, Everett DeBoer and Elizabeth DeBoer.  Everett started working at his dad's gas station in Garfield NJ, doing towing and tire service when he was young.  He went to Bergen County Vo-Tech High School and studied Auto Mechanics.  He met his wife at Hawthorne Gospel Church.  They married on June 6, 1987.  He worked for the Inspection Station for many years.  They moved to Vineland, then to Cape May Courthouse, then to Florida.  He was a school bus driver, then a bus monitor for Lake County Schools in Florida.  He loved going to Sea World, and loved to travel to visit family and friends.  He loved to sing hymns.

Everett is survived by his wife of 38 years, Karen Windeler DeBoer, of Leesburg, FL, his sister, Barbara Ann DeBoer Graham, of the Villages, FL and his mother, Elizabeth Cook DeBoer, of Lady Lake, FL.

He is preceded in death by his father, Everett DeBoer, of Lady Lake, FL

A service was held on Saturday, August 16, at Trinity Baptist Church in Wildwood, FL.  He was buried at Shiloh Cemetery in Fruitland Park, FL.  Donations can be sent to Trinity Baptist Church, at 3027 North US 301, Wildwood, FL  34785.  Write the check out to Trinity Baptist Church and memo Helps Ministries.
