In Loving Memory

Gladys Mae Vance, 87, of Leesburg Florida passed away Sunday August 31, 2025.

Born February 16,1938, Gladys was the daughter of Talmadge "Cap" English and Bertie Nell Blue.

Gladys was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She loved singing karaoke and hanging out with her friends. She also enjoyed just sitting on her porch listening to country music while watching the hummingbirds sing and play in the yard.

She will truly be missed.

Gladys was preceded in death by husband Hobert Vance, sons; Van Lee Pot and Hozie G Owens Jr., grandson; David Andrew Green Jr. as well as four brothers; Bobby, Marvin, Earl and Coy.

She is survived by; daughter; Marie Kendall and husband Paul Kendall of Lake Wales Florida, daughter; Joyce Owens Rhoades and husband Wayne Rhoades of Leesburg Florida; son; Billy Owens and wife Christine Owens of Hilham Tennessee and daughter; Sonya Nowling of Waynesville North Carolina.

Grand kids; Dan, Chris, Sara, Brandy, September, Billy Jr., Cheyanne, Ricky, April, Amanda, Allen, Shawn and Holly.

Great grand kids; Danny II, Justin, Dylan, Mikey, Dominique, Celeste, Joslynn, Skylar, Gauge, Adeline, Declan, AJ, Beau, Elizabeth, Brittany and Celeste.

Great-Great grand kids; Carter, River, Christine, Georgia, Claudia, Ally, Lilly and Conner.
