It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Hector Figueroa, who entered eternal rest on August 3, 2025, at the age of 57. Born in Long Island, New York, on June 30, 1968, Hector was a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend to all who were blessed to know him.

To know Hector was to know his laugh… loud, contagious, and full of life… and to brace yourself for one of his famously loud sneezes. He was the heart of every gathering, the prankster who could light up a room with a single grin, and the favorite uncle who brought joy and energy wherever he went. His creativity knew no limits. From his incredible artistry and home improvement projects to his beautiful decor and the delicious meals he loved to cook, Hector poured his heart into everything he touched. He had a gift for turning ordinary moments into cherished memories.

He loved the simple joys of life… a walk on the beach, dancing to his favorite music, sharing a good story, and being surrounded by family and friends. Hector's warm heart and generous spirit made him someone you could always count on, whether you needed help with a project, a good laugh, or a listening ear.

Hector is survived by his loving father, Pilar Figueroa, his siblings Aurea, Angelo, Victor, Norma, Tony, and Pilar Jr., and his nieces and nephews who he loved so dearly. He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Juanita Figueroa. Though our hearts are heavy, we are comforted by the lifetime of laughter, lessons, and love he gave so freely.

A memorial service will be held in Aguada, Puerto Rico, where family and friends will gather to honor his life, share stories, and celebrate the joy he brought into our lives.

Hector will forever be remembered for his boundless creativity, joyful spirit, and the way he made everyone feel like family.
