In Loving Memory of Leila Acevedo

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude, we announce the passing of Leila Acevedo on December 3, 2025 at the age of 86. Leila was a woman of faith—loving, strong, and courageous—whose presence made all who knew her feel safe, seen, and cared for.

She had a gentle spirit and a servant's heart, and she loved her family fiercely. Her kitchen was her love language, and her meals gathered people together the way her heart always did. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her life will be remembered through the prayers she whispered, the love she poured out, and the home she built with her warmth.

Leila is lovingly survived by Rosaura Acevedo, Yolanda Ortiz, Brunilda Acevedo-Rodriguez, William Acevedo, Agustin Acevedo. Her grandchildren-Amanda, Johnathan, Christopher, Tiahana, Rebecca, Mason, Taína,Daniel, Austin &Justin. Great Grandchildren- Symphony, Mia,Brooklyn, Leila, Kade, Zion & Zeak.

Her memory will live on in every story shared, every meal made with love, and every moment we choose kindness the way she did.
