James Francis "Jiggy" Carroll, 86, passed away on October 7, 2025, in The Villages, FL.  He was born on March 12, 1939, in Philadelphia, PA to James Joseph Carroll and Agnes Cecelia (Finn) Carroll.  He was a graduate of Father Judge High School in Philadelphia. He worked for Dial Corporation as a Salesman for 30 years and received multiple achievement awards.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia (Pat); brother Kevin (Karen) Carroll; stepdaughters Patricia (Pattie) Cherrington, Chester Springs, PA; and Susan (Sharon) Cherrington, Sun City West, AZ; niece Erin Carroll-Hunsinger (Andrew Hunsinger); and nephew Ryan Carroll. He is proceeded in death by his parents James Joseph Carroll and Agnes Cecelia (Finn) Carroll and his brother, Thomas.  Jiggy was a huge Notre Dame fan and overall fan of college football.  A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 2:00 pm at BALDWIN BROTHERS Funeral & Cremation Society-Spanish Springs, 1008 Bichara Boulevard, The Villages, FL  32159.  In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a memorial contribution to the University of Notre Dame .
