James William "Kip" Varner James William Varner, known to family and friends as Kip, age 69, of Cocoa, Florida, passed away at home on December 3, 2025. Born on January 15, 1956, in Kentucky, Kip was a man of many talents and passions. He will be remembered for his various art projects, music, his cherished bonsai collection, and his pineapple upside down cake. Kip was devoted to the children in his family and to his beloved dog, Lily. He is survived by his wife, Brenda; stepchildren Cory, Michael, and Jennifer; siblings Janet Bailey Yarnell and Allen Eugene Varner; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Kip was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ada Fern Varner, and his son, Jaimie. A celebration of Kip's life will be held on January 17, 2026, at his home.
