Obituary

James Don "Woody" Woodward, 80, of North Fort Myers, Florida, died August 30, 2025, at Advent Health in Cape Coral.

Born August 24, 1945, in Bowling Green, Ohio, he was the son of Ralph and Helen (Barret) Woodward.

On March 30, 1991, he married Cosette C. Kahler, who survives him in North Fort Myers.

He is a 1963 graduate of Eastwood High School in Pemberville, Ohio. He was a utility lineman for more than 40 years. He was a former Chief and EMT of the Luckey Volunteer Fire Department. He is also a past board member of the The Heritage Home Owners Association in North Fort Myers where he lived.

After retirement, he and his loving wife moved to Southwest Florida.

He is also survived by two daughters, Shelly Woodward of Pemberville, Ohio, and Stacy (David) Smith of Luckey, Ohio; one brother; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Baldwin Brothers in Cape Coral. No public service is planned at this time.
