It is with great sadness we share that Jennifer Ransone Wyrick, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and wife passed away at age 62 after a long health struggle with cancer. She was a fighter to the very end as was her nature.

Jenny was born in Ocala on September 20, 1963. Her childhood took her to several places due to her father's employment. She is a graduate of Towson University in Towson, MD. She earned her Master of Library Science degree from the University of South Florida. She also earned another master's degree in Adult Education from Indiana University. Upon her marriage she had two children, Leal and Elizabeth. She loved them dearly and spent their formative years at home nurturing them.

Jenny worked in Indiana at the Ronald McDonald Home in Indianapolis. She also worked for non-profit organizations benefiting young people in the field of literacy.

Jenny and her husband moved to Florida in 2008 when her elderly parents become ill.

Jenny worked at the Marion County Library for 17 years as a librarian directing the Children's Department, Circulation Dept and later as Coordinator of the branch locations. Jenny's coworkers became her friends and were very supportive during her last few months.

Jennifer chose not to have any funeral services. She requested to be cremated and have her ashes spread on Anna Maria Island…her favorite vacation spot at a later date.

She is survived by her husband, Don Wyrick of Ocala, children; Elizabeth Brown of Bluffton, SC, Leal Ransone of Indianapolis, IN; her sister, Lindy Thomas of Ocala and her brother, Lee Hayward of Dallas, TX. Her grandchildren Olivia and Stephanie Brown were the love of her life.
