Obituary

Jerry Michael Earl, 81, passed away on November 23, 2025. Born on July 4, 1944, in Abilene, Texas, Jerry lived a life marked by determination, ingenuity, and a deep love for family, adventure, and the simple joys that made each day meaningful.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Jerry went on to build a distinguished career as an industrial and electrical engineer. His expertise, leadership, and commitment to excellence earned him recognition as an honorary member of IEEE—an honor he cherished. Even after decades of professional success, one of his proudest accomplishments came just three years ago, when he founded JST Power Equipment and served as its general manager. Building the company from the ground up was the culmination of a lifetime spent solving problems, innovating, and guiding others.

Jerry was a man who embraced life fully. He loved being out on the water aboard his boat, the Mobile Pleasure, where he found peace and pure enjoyment. He was an exceptional golfer and an enthusiastic football fan, faithfully cheering for the Texas A&M Aggies, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Dallas Cowboys. His life's journey took him through Maryland, Ohio, Florida, and beyond, leaving behind friendships and fond memories wherever he lived.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Ann Pigott, his sons Mike, Matthew, and Marcus Earl, his loving wife of 30 years, Nora Palacios-Earl and her son Luis Rafael Rinzivillo, and five cherished grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Margaret Earl.

A service to honor and celebrate Jerry's life will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Highland Manor 604 E. Main Street, Apopka, Florida 32703.

Jerry will be remembered for his steady wisdom, his warm humor, and his unwavering devotion to the people he loved. His legacy lives on in the family he guided, the friends he uplifted, and the work he built from the ground up. May he rest in peace.
