Joe Henry Vazquez, 72, of Sorrento, Florida, peacefully left this world on September 18, 2025. Born on January 19, 1953, in Miami, Florida, Joe's warm spirit, infectious humor, and zest for life left an everlasting imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
With over 40 years in retail management, Joe was a dedicated professional known for his work ethic, leadership, and genuine connection with people. His friendly nature and quick wit made him a beloved figure both at work and in his community.
A passionate lifelong fan of the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Hurricanes, Joe's excitement for sports was only surpassed by his profound love for the ocean. Whether relaxing on the beach or casting a line as a fisherman, he found peace and pure joy in the water's embrace. Always ready with a joke, a story, or a heartfelt conversation, Joe's cheerful personality and warm heart brought people together in ways words cannot fully capture.
Joe leaves behind his devoted children, Kelley Vazquez and Brian Vazquez; his caring sisters, Kathy Deifenback, Margaret Patterson, and Carmen Slattery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernestina Costoso Vazquez and Jose Vazquez Sostre Martinez, and his dear sister, Lucy Perez.
