John Harrison Keeler, a devoted husband and loving father passed away on December 4, 2025 at the age of 85. John grew up in Minneapolis, MN and graduated from Southwest High School and St. Cloud State. John was a Property Casualty insurance agent prior to retiring to The Villages, Florida part-time in 2008 and permanently in 2012.

John and his wife, Karen, loved living in The Villages and had many friends and many enjoyable times golfing, playing pickle ball, having parties and going out with friends. He loved serving as a Deacon at Fairway Christian Church and built strong relationships with all the Deacons he worked with. In addition to his service as a Deacon, John especially enjoyed his work with the First Impressions Ministry where he made calls on first time visitors to Fairway. He was filled with gratitude and pride when visitors he called on would return to Fairway services and often, eventually, become members of the church. John was a faithful servant of God. He enjoyed life to the fullest; he never had a bad day. He loved people, and people loved him.

John is survived by his wife, Karen, his son, Matthew Keeler (Susan) his daughter, Molly Keeler, his step-daughter, Brandee Smith (Walt) three wonderful grandchildren, Mason Keeler, Justin McGrain and Mara McGrain, his sister, Pat Sorenson and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at Fairway Christian Church in The Villages, at 8400 E. Cty Rd 466 on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Fairway Christian Church.
