Jonathan David Taylor of Daytona Beach Shores passed away

August 18, 2025 at Advent Health, Daytona Beach, Florida.

He is survived by the love of his life, Barbara Taylor, his daughters Savanna, Sammy, Abby and Annabelle Taylor his granddaughter Ava Taylor, and sisters Linda Lilly and Liz Pace.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Delores Taylor (Vuncannon), his brothers Ralph II and Bobby Taylor.

He was born on January 27, 1971 in Lakeland Florida.

For most of his life he lived in Orlando and attended Winter Park High School.

He was a roofer by trade and was employed by Fleming Brothers Roofing for many years.

He moved to Daytona Beach Shores in 2018 and was employed at the time of his death at The Shores Resort and Spa as a maintenance engineer.

More than anything, he loved his family, especially his beautiful girls and granddaughter. Jonathan loved playing his guitar and listening to rock music especially Steely Dan. He enjoyed writing stories and always had a special place in his heart for cats.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
